French Toast:
- You need: Lots of bread (We recommend Italian bread), a dozen eggs, milk, half a tsp of cinnamon, powdered sugar, a large mixing bowl, and maple syrup.
- Break all the eggs into the large mixing bowl.
- Pour the milk and count to 12 (the number of seconds should match the number of eggs. This is the method our Mom learned from her Mom, our Grandma Barbie).
- Add the cinnamon and whisk well to break all of the yolks.
- One at a time, fully dip a piece of bread into the mix, and fry in a frying pan or a griddle.
- Fry each side until the egg mixture is fully cooked.
- Make as many pieces as you like, until the mixture is gone, or until you run out of bread.
- You could say... one dozen eggs will probably make about 12 pieces of French toast. If you have leftover mixture, you can make sweet scrambled eggs.
- Top your French toast with maple syrup, powdered sugar, add additional toppings like butter, sprinkles, strawberries, and whip cream, or as desired and... Enjoy! ;)
